I am definitely going to miss this view right on the Milwaukee river.. I’ve worked at Graffito, formerly known as Ryan Braun’s Graffito all three years it has been open.

We will officially be closing our doors at the end of this year but all of the employees are slowly moving to other Surg locations or job opportunities. It’s sad because I have become really close with all my fellow employees and management and have been there through all ups and downs.

But all good things must come to an end & I must move on to the next chapter of my life. SO tonight I will be starting my first night at Carnevor Steakhouse tonight on Milwaukee St which is also owned by Surg. I’m looking forward to starting somewhere new but I will definitely miss Graffito.

I saw Rush this weekend… Which was incredible. Seriously… Go. See. It. In the previews there was a preview for Lone Survivor, which is about a close group of Navy Seals including Mark Wahlberg. The preview caught my attention because of this opening quote that started the trailer. I found it very powerful & it was said so perfectly.

Awkward picture but today is definitely a sad day. Three years ago three of my friends/teammates were tragically killed in a car accident.

My teammates Marcus & Elysia were on my cheerleading team my freshman year at UWM, later became engaged & transferred that next year to the University of Minnesota.

I also met Wilfredo the summer before my freshman year of college at my first year of UCA cheer camp, he was a cheerleader for UPRB (University of Puerto Rico Bayamon). He had very strong English & transferred to the Univeristy of Minnesota the following year as well.

On October 7, 2010 they were traveling back from Minnesota to Milwaukee to visit at night when they got a flat tire on the side of the highway. While trying to fix their tire their car got hit by a drunk driver killing Marcus & Wilfredo instantly & Elysia passed away within a few at the hospital.

I miss the three of them very much & always have a difficult day every anniversary. They were amazing teammates and friends that I share many memories with my freshman year of college. My teammate Adam got these wristbands made for all their friends and family to keep with us.

Never forget 10-7-10.

I had the best time at the packer game today with my family. I try to make it to at least one packer game a year and this one was by far one of the best ones I’ve been to.

1. It was a great win & an exciting game
2. It was my moms first packer game ever
3. It was beautiful weather! Especially after down pouring all day yesterday
4. We got four free tickets & great seats
5. It was the packers first October game so it was the first time seeing all the NFL pink & they have out pink rally towels
6. Etc, etc, etc

SO much fun today!! I got to see the brand new additional seating renovations they added this year in the south end zone. Today broke a Lambeau Field attendance record of 78,200 which was very exciting to be at. Attached is a article from the Journal Sentinel about the new seating. My dad added me to the season ticket holder waiting list when I was a baby so adding the additional 7,000 seats moved 3,600 new season ticket holders into the stadium. 3,600 added in a year has to move me up a little at the least!

Helllloooooo packer tickets!!! Lambeau bound for the packers lions game! Couldn’t be more excited!!

My beautiful arrangement of valet tickets. I HATE parking downtown….but the only thing I hate more is parking tickets. Working at a bar downtown can get expensive finding street parking. Some nights I don’t know what time I’ll be done or I could work until bar close which can get into night parking issues and or run over meter times. It’s been a lot easier valeting my car so I don’t have to worry about it getting ticketed or towed, still pretty pricey.. I just wish there was somewhere to park downtown for free!

Last night I finally got to check out the new piano key crosswalk downtown by cathedral square. I’ve been seeing people’s pictures but was excited to go & check it out myself for this post!

The coolest part about it besides it’s look is it was all created through social media.

Didn’t get a chance to post yesterday seeing at it was a very eventful evening. This is my teammate/roommate/best friend jessi’s xray of her ankle that she broke last night at cheerleading practice. She had two breaks in her ankle & broke her fibula. I followed the ambulance to the hospital & stayed with her until she was sedated to pop it back into place & came back in her room after to hear she needs surgery on it. So yesterday was a long day to say the least but were all hoping she has a speedy recovery

Chopstick humor. I thought this was clever & something you would normally just overlook & rip open the packaging. Clever..
